Bordentown Street Smart Campaign Featured on CentralJersey.com

Bordentown Township Police Chief Brian Pesce told CentralJersey.com recently that the town’s Street Smart NJ campaign “really made an impact.”

The township worked with Cross County Connection to launch its campaign in October. The Police Department received a grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety to cover overtime costs.

Bordentown combined public education, enforcement and improvements to crosswalks and signage to make its campaign a success, Pesce said. He said the Police Department would continue its efforts to educate the public about pedestrian safety.
