New Jersey Launches New Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal and the state Division of Highway Traffic Safety have a simple message to share: You have places to go. Don’t drive distracted.

That’s the slogan for a new public awareness campaign the state launched today in honor of National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Distracted driving is the leading cause of fatal crashes in New Jersey.

The month-long campaign will feature digital ads throughout the state, as well as on the internet and Pandora Radio.

“We’re reminding people what’s at stake every time they get behind the wheel,” Grewal said in the news release. “We want drivers of all ages to realize that their plans and dreams for the future depend on making safe choices here and now.”
