TransOptions Transportation Management Association and the Town of Morristown reported the findings of their 2019 pedestrian safety campaign.
The analysis of the May 2019 campaign shows there was a 58 percent reduction in people crossing unsafely mid-block; a 7 percent decrease in drivers failing to yield to pedestrians when crossing and a 5 percent decrease in drivers failing to stop for people in crosswalks.
