Here's a scary fact: Halloween is the deadliest day of the year for young pedestrians. Children are three times more likely to be struck and killed by a car while out trick-or-treating than they are any other day of the year.

We’re joining partners around the country in observing Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day on Monday, October 10. The goal is to raise awareness and have one day without roadway deaths.
